Are you looking for a Locum Appointment for Service (LAS) Clinical Fellow (STR3+ Equivalent) role?
Join our team as we start our journey to become a Neuroscience centre of excellence – Excellent opportunities for career progression.
Exciting developments are happening in the Neurology and Stroke Departments at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals; come and join us now and help us to achieve our vision to become a centre for Neuroscience.
To deliver our ambition we want to improve our established services, as well as respond to innovative service developments such as deep brain stimulation, thrombectomy, and early psychological support for patients and carers.
We would like a LAS Clinical Fellow (STR3+ Equivalent) to come and join our developing Neuroscience team, focusing on the Stroke pathway. We are the biggest Stroke centre in the East of England, admitting in excess of 1200 patients per year. We work closely with the University of East Anglia to support training through the world renowned medical school and research faculty; we are offering the same training opportunities as enrolled trainees, with available funding for both under and post-graduate courses. You will join the team on a 5 week rota cycle where there will only be 1 weekend on call, week day evening on call and no nights, alongside the other usual day time clinical commitments.
In Norwich a staggering 77% of people say they love their job. Although less than 2 hours from London and serviced by excellent transport links , Norwich is one of few UK cities that still retain a strong local identity and with that a strong sense of community – people walk down the street and say hello to each other, baristas remember our coffee order, you get to know about interesting local projects.
This strong sense of self along with excellent shopping, eating out, affordable house prices and excellent schooling is why Norwich has been ranked by the Guardian as the best city to work in.
