Exciting times for Children’s Emergency Care in East Anglia…
Our Emergency Department is undergoing a radical period of development and growth and we are looking for talented individuals to join us and help realise our ambitions to deliver the gold standard of care for our patients. We are proud to announce that plans for a re- modelling of our facilities are now becoming a reality.
At the heart of these plans will be a significant growth in our ability to care for children requiring emergency treatment: a six- fold increase in capacity with a dedicated waiting area for children and adolescents, a dedicated resus and HDU space, as well as clinical isolation cubicles and provisions to support patients with mental health conditions. Alongside these new facilities our teams will be supported by dedicated play workers and a range of multi-disciplinary experts from across our hospital, including the specialist Children’s Hospital based on site and our co- located Urgent Care Centre. The busiest Emergency Department in the East of England, our teams see over 120,000 patients a year and 30,000 of these are expected to be paediatric cases.
If you share our passion for providing the best possible care to children and their parents when they need it most and want to work in a team that is constantly striving to offer new and improved operational processes then we would love to hear from you.
We are seeking:
- Emergency Medicine consultants with sub specialist training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine
- Clinical fellows in Paediatric Emergency Medicine -
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
