Located at Colney Lane very close to the main hospital building is the Trust's Residential Accommodation, comprising of 144 ensuite rooms and 24 communal spaces which provide overnight and short term stays for NNUH employees.

Key responsibilities include:
To provide a high quality maintenance/repair/installation and services to a range of electrical, mechanical and gas equipment in respect of the residential staff accommodation at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.
Maintain equipment, building fabric and utility services of Trust property.
To assist the Accommodation Manager with the prioritisation, programming and monitoring of all maintenance repair works.
To offer advice and support to tenants, to report all instances of anti-social behaviour.
To perform occasional grounds maintenance duties which include spreading of salt, sweeping of leaves, collecting litter, cleaning gulley’s, painting and decorating, Minor works and maintaining cleanliness of all external areas.

The role is physically demanding and may include lifting and operating machinery.

This position is via the Admin and Clerical Bank to cover ad hoc hours as and when required. Bank is paid weekly in arrears.
