Older People's Medicine - Registered Nurse
We have fantastic opportunities for Registered Nurses to join us and be part of something special. Our team of dedicated Nurses care for Older People with fracture to neck of femur, providing a first class level of care for vulnerable and frail patients on Brundall Ward, our ortho-OPM Medical Ward.
This is an exciting time to join our Older People’s Medicine Service as we make innovative changes to our specialty. Our Nurses already work as part of a multi- disciplinary team and have the support of dedicated dementia specialists and volunteers who provide a stimulating programme of activities all designed to give the Older People who benefit from our services the best possible recovery, leading to a smooth and successful discharge.
We are looking for Nurses who share our passion for providing excellent levels of care for Older People. Our recent Friends and Family Test showed that 97% of our patients would recommend the NNUH and this is the standard that we strive to achieve in Older People’s Medicine. Our PRIDE Values of People Focus, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence are at the heart of what we do.
As well as the opportunity to work in a richly rewarding specialty, we offer flexible working patterns and an approach to Nursing that engages with different disciplines. You will be supported by our team of clinical educators and have the opportunity to learn new skills and suggest changes that you believe will make a difference.
As well as applications from Nurses with recent acute hospital experience we would welcome applications from those with NMC registration who need to refresh their skills and can offer a Supervised Practice Programme to support if necessary.
