** Fixed term contract / secondment opportunity until 30th March 2022 **
This post sits within the NIHR Clinical Research Network Division 1,3,6 cluster team. The Divisions in this cluster cover the following specialty areas: Division 1 (Cancer); Division 3 (Children, Reproductive Health, Genetics and Haematology); Division 6 (Anaesthesia and Pain, Critical Care, ENT, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Infectious Diseases, Injuries and Emergencies, Respiratory, Ophthalmology and Surgery). The post is based at Rouen Road, NNUHFT.
The post holder will work with the managers in providing support for new network studies that are in the pipeline or early stages of set up, by liaising with the Information Officer, the Study Support Service, study teams and delivery teams in secondary care, tracking information on their progress and maintaining up to date records of study progress from set up to study closure.
The role entails using an in depth knowledge of study protocols and their application in practice alongside a working knowledge and compliance with local and national research regulations. The post also involves responsibility for site feasibility work and monitoring study performance.
