The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is a 1010 bed District General Hospital with a large Cardiology Department employing 13 Consultant Cardiologists and 24 Cardiac Physiologists, undertaking a wide range of invasive and non-invasive procedures. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, newly qualified colleague to join this excellent team as a Cardiac Physiologist.  You will be working in cardiac catheter labs helping to perform coronary angiography, including PCI, primary PCI and the implant of pacemakers (including ICD, CRTP and CRTD) and implantable loop recorders.  We also perform electrophysiology studies. 

The department has a large non-invasive workload including Ambulatory monitoring, pacemaker and loop recorder follow-up and echocardiography (TTE, TOE, stress echo and congenital heart disease)

As post holder the primary role will be to support Senior members of the team.  After a period of training, you will be required to work independently for coronary angiography and the implant of pacemakers/ILRs and ambulatory monitoring, along with regular sessions in echocardiography and pacemaker follow-up clinics.  

Hours of work : Full time - 37.5 hours per week.

On-call commitment is a requirement of this post.

The department is working towards 7 day working.
