An opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced dosimetrist to join our friendly team. Dosimetry planning is radiographer-led, predominately using VMAT and IMRT; all external beam planning is done on Eclipse TPS.  We also have an established lung SABR service.

The Norfolk and Norwich Radiotherapy Department is a paperless Varian department, with a fully implemented four tier career structure.   We have a managed service contract securing up to date technology until 2027.  Currently we have fleet of six Varian linear accelerators (3 TrueBeams & 3 Clinacs), one GE CT simulator, a new brachytherapy theatre suite and an Xstrahl superficial unit.  Our managed service contract ensures replacement of our Clinacs, VariSource and GE CT as part of continuous programme over coming years.  We are also increasing our CT simulator capacity later this year when we install an additional Canon Aquilion Large Bore.

We are a clinical placement site for student radiographers from University of Suffolk, giving you the opportunity to help us shape the next generation of therapeutic radiographers.

Norwich is served by two large shopping centres, with all the national chains you would expect, alongside independent retailers in the historic streets and vibrant market.  The city also has more than its fair share of restaurants, pubs, theatres and clubs to keep you occupied outside work.  We also have good rail links to London and Cambridge.

Surrounding Norwich there are a number of picturesque small towns and villages for those who prefer a quieter life.
