Our emergency department is undergoing a radical period of development and growth and we are looking for talented Nurses and Paramedics to join our dedicated resus team and help realise our ambitions to deliver the gold standard of care for our patients.
Our leadership teams are passionate about providing the best possible services for our visitors to the Emergency Department and are proud to announce that plans for re-modelling of our facilities are now becoming a reality.
The successful candidate will join a committed and passionate team of nurses and paramedics who work primarily in the resuscitation room and in the Rapid Assessment and Treatment Unit (RATs) of the Emergency Department to provide, develop and co-ordinate high quality care to patients attending with emergency care needs.
You will participate in the support and professional development of all staff with specific relation to resuscitation and emergency care assessment contributing to ongoing education for the wider Emergency Department team.
You will work as part of an engaged and dynamic multidisciplinary team to ensure that care provided in the resuscitation room is evidence based and that such care follows agreed specialist pathways (e.g. sepsis bundle).
To maintain a safe and efficient resuscitation room you will participate and be supported in efficient resource utilisation and quality assurance mechanisms.
Internal rotation approximately 50% days to 50% nights, minimum 2 weekends off per four-week period to cover the 24/7 service demand.
