We are seeking to recruit 6 Consultants in Emergency Medicine following a £1 million investment to expand and develop our teaching focused department. We are able to look at offering flexible working for candidates wishing to work less than full time, fixed days, or split job plans (e.g. with other departments or the East Anglian Air Ambulance). Ultimately we are open to accommodate your specific needs to create the perfect balance between working in a busy and exciting Emergency Department in the sixth largest acute teaching hospital in the UK whilst still enjoying a life outside of work.
To help with you getting settled in to Norfolk life, we are willing to offer one of the most generous relocation, recruitment and retention offered to any A&E doctors in the country. We will offer up to £20,000 a year for up to three years. This will include your relocation expenses of £6,000 and also offer an additional £10k in year 1, £15k in year 2 and £20k in year three.
NNUH is a modern, bright and airy campus style 1000 bedded hospital which links directly to the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the world leading John Innes research park. The hospital site is in the outskirts of the City within the beautiful county of Norfolk.
Norwich is one of the few UK cities that still retain a strong local identity, a robust sense of community – with people walking down the street and saying hello to each other and baristas remembering our coffee order. We have great transport links enabling you to be in Central London within less than 2 hours or you could be walking on some of the best un-spoilt beaches in Europe in 30 minutes.
Well don’t just take our word for it, come visit us and see for yourself.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
