An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse with a special interest Gastroenterology to join our Guist Ward team. We are a 38 bedded ward specialising in Gastroenterology and Hepatology conditions.

We are looking for a dynamic individual prepared for a challenge and a good team player. You will be expected to manage a team of patients, prioritise care, work with members of the MDT and Nursing team. You will demonstrate a willingness to enhance your skills and knowledge in Gastroenterology and have the vision and enthusiasm to make a contribution to our ward.

As post holder you will work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework.  You will maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse. You will  act as a leader in the clinical area, in the absence of a more senior member of staff.   You will also work in accordance with the principles laid down by the Nursing/Midwifery professional bodies and Trust Policies.

Full time: 37.5 hours per week.
