**Part time position**

#TeamNNUH’s Medicine Division has the opportunity for a dedicated and motivated housekeeper to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates to join the largest division at NNUH!

Under the direction and supervision of the Nursing Staff, the post holder will participate as an integral member of the departmental team, undertaking general housekeeping duties, including some direct patient contact, to help provide a quality service.

The requirements for this position are:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience of ensuring a clean and tidy working environment
  • Should be familiar with working as part of a team
  • Has an understanding/ willingness to learn about the ordering of stock and the maintenance of equipment at unit level
  • Must have good interpersonal skills

As post holder you will be expected to undertake a range of duties including:

  • General cleaning of the ward
  • Check equipment is cleaned and maintained
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Ensure all supplies and stationary are stored correctly
  • Undertake a range of errands and work with the clinical teams.
