* Fixed term / secondment opportunity - 2 years * 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Network & Telecommunications Engineer.  Ideally you will be outgoing, a team player with bags of drive and enthusiasm and someone who understands the value of providing outstanding customer service. You will need  to be able to work proactively under pressure and deliver against individual and team Key Performance Indicators.  Experience within the Healthcare sphere is not essential, however, sound network and telecommunications (VoIP) experience is crucial

As post holder you will:

- be responsible for the resolution of incidents, problems and service requests within agreed SLAs

- provide technical consultancy for agreed IT projects.

We’re looking for the type of technical person who loves to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

While the role is based at the main hospital site you will be expected to travel to the Trust’s other sites when required for work purposes, for which transport will be provided, so a full driving license is essential. Adjustments can be made for candidates with a disability

Hours of work: Full time : 37.5 hours per week

You will be expected to form part of the on-call rota which supports the Trust’s services outside of normal office hours.
