An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Consumables and Materials Manager to support Main Theatres and the Day Procedure Unit in providing a stock administration function for Main Theatres and DPU, line management of the Consumables and Materials Assistant to support the smooth running of the department.
As post holder you will :
- maintain Theatre clinical area stock items and equipment to agreed levels, following a schedule of count, delivery and shelf replenishment.
- place orders with NHS Supply Chain as and when required, and to place requisitions for non-stock materials management line as and when required in compliance with agreed product rationalization / standardisations.
- stock rotation, stock movement and circulate and remove all non-moving lines
-work collaboratively with the procurement team to ensure efficient serve for the theatre teams.
