An exciting opportunity has arisen for a housekeeper to work across Women’s Services. This is a busy department which needs to deliver high standards of care across maternity and gynaecology. Efficient housekeeping is essential to ensure clean, checked equipment and supplies are readily available for use by the nursing, midwifery and medical team.
As post holder, you will be under the direction and supervision of the Nursing and Midwifery Staff, you will participate as an integral member of the departmental team, undertaking general housekeeping duties, including some direct patient care at times. This will include checking and ordering supplies as well as cleaning and checking equipment to support clinical activities.
Required to work on a 4 week cycle:-
Week 1 : Thurs/Fri Sat/Sun
Week 2 : Wed/Thurs/Fri
Week 3 : Thurs/Fri Sat/Sun
Week 4 : Wed/Thurs/Fri
09:00 -15:00 weekdays (5.5 hrs with unpaid 30 min break)
08:00 - 13 00 weekends (5.0 hrs no break ) or 0800-1330 if break is required.
Hours of Work: 18.75 hours per week
