Applications are invited for the post of Speciality Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to join the Oral Health team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Applicants require a minimum of 3 years oral surgery experience and must hold full GDC registration.
The Hospital is sited on the outskirts of the thriving city of Norwich in an area of outstanding natural beauty with ready access to the Norfolk Broads and the coast.
There are excellent sports facilities locally and Norfolk provides beautiful walking and relaxation opportunities.
The city has an international airport and good road and rail links to the capital.
The OMFS department is an active, expanding, modern and well equipped department offering a full range of maxillofacial services, including Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry. We provide emergency 24 hour cover for Norfolk and the North Suffolk and as postholder you will be expected to take part in this on call rota. The recent re-organisation of regional cancer services has resulted in centralisation of Head and Neck Cancer Surgery to Norwich and the team works closely with the James Paget Hospital carrying out day procedures and outpatient clinics.
