We are looking to recruit experienced Paediatric Nurses to join our team based in our dedicated Children’s Emergency Department.

**Up to £8,000 relocation expenses available***

We have recently launched our dedicated Children’s Emergency Department.  At the heart of this has been a significant growth in our ability to care for children requiring emergency treatment.  We now have a six fold increase in capacity with a dedicated waiting area for children and adolescents, a dedicated resus and HDU space, as well as clinical isolation cubicles and provisions to support patients with mental health conditions.

Alongside these new facilities our teams are supported by dedicated play workers and a range of multi-disciplinary experts from across the hospital.

Although based within our main Emergency Department our Children’s Emergency Department is closely linked to our Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital which is a hospital within a hospital for children and young people. Consisting of Outpatient services, Children’s’ Assessment Unit (CAU), Children’s Day Ward (CDW) plus dedicated ward and services for specialist services for sick babies.

If you share our passion for providing the best possible care to children and their parents when they need it most and want to work in a team which is consistently striving to deliver the gold standard of care we would love to hear from you.

Opportunities are available to join our team in our Children’s Emergency Department or, if you are looking or variety rotational posts across Children’s services are available.

Why NNUH?

Just think where your NNUH career could take you. Norfolk and Norwich university Hospital is the 6th largest acute hospital in the UK with new clinics and services being introduced each year, the possibilities are endless.  With strong links to the University of East Anglia and Norwich Research Park we want to give our staff every opportunity and the support to achieve their potential.  This also allows us to have an imaginative approach to our nursing teams, including Nurse Registrars and Nurse Consultants running their own clinics and Advanced Nurse Practitioners taking a leading role in the care of patients.

Why Norwich?

In Norwich a staggering 77% of people say they love their job.   Although less than 2 hours from London and serviced by excellent transport links , Norwich is one of few UK cities that still retain a strong local identity and with that a strong sense of community – people walk down the street and say hello to each other, baristas remember our coffee order, you get to know about interesting local projects.

This strong sense of self along with excellent shopping, eating out, affordable house prices and excellent schooling is why Norwich has been ranked by the Guardian as the best city to work in.
