Practice Development & Education is a friendly, innovative, dynamic team with a corporate remit for providing training, education, development and support for a variety of courses, including pre and post registration programs. The department has strong links with local education providers.
We are looking for a proven team leader, with knowledge and experience of education, to drive ongoing improvement of the quality of learning and development for learners in clinical practice on education and training programs, both at the NNUH and Cromer Hospitals.
In this exiting time of new clinical roles and professional apprenticeship programs coming on stream, the Practice Development Nurse as an experienced practitioner will both lead and facilitate practice education developments and provide leadership to the department’s Clinical Educator team.
Working closely with the Education Lead, you will liaise with Clinical Educators from across the trust and other health care providers, to share best practice and be innovative in enhancing the learning experience and outcomes for learners.
Your role will involve recruitment of candidates onto programs of learning, and to represent the Trust in wider forums.
You will work mainly Monday to Friday office hours with some weekend and out of hours work in relation to recruitment activities or conferencing.
We may also have Clinical Educator roles becoming available soon, please indicate if you would be interested in discussing this role too – a Job Description is attached (Band 6).
Hours of work - full time 37.5 hours per week
