Applications are invited for a 6 month fixed term locum consultant radiologist position in the Radiology Department at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

 

The post is for a period of 6 months and pays 10 programmed activities per week.  An interest in gastrointestinal and/or head and neck radiology would be welcome.

 

The Radiology Department performs approximately 500,000 studies per year. The Colorectal Cancer Unit at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is one of the largest units in the United Kingdom treating approximately 450 cases per year.  The successful post holder will be expected to participate in all aspects of the lower GI service currently provided by the Department. This includes CT colonoscopy, MR small bowel, Colorectal cancer multidisciplinary team meetings and associated imaging reporting.

 

The Radiology Department is actively engaged in a large variety of research activity. There is an active teaching programme for the Specialist Registrars attached to the Norwich Radiology Academy to which the successful candidate will be expected to contribute.
