CONSULTANT IN BODY IMAGING
We are seeking an enthusiastic colleague with a specialist interest in body imaging. This is a replacement full time/part time appointment to support imaging for oncology patients, and the successful applicant will join a team of 33 consultant radiologists.
The Radiology department at NNUH is busy whilst maintaining a friendly, open and collaborative ethos. The full spectrum of oncological imaging is provided to support the busy oncology services at NNUH. An interest in urogenital and/or upper GI-hepatobiliary imaging would be particularly welcome. As a university teaching hospital we have developed our research and development strategy in partnership with the University of East Anglia. We also work closely with our partners on the Norwich Research Park and Norwich Radiology Academy to take forward our ambitious targets for research and development. We are keen to support candidates’ research, teaching and other interests.
Norwich is a beautiful and historic city set within the picturesque Norfolk countryside, and in 2016 was rated as the happiest city in which to work in the UK. It is located close to the stunning North Norfolk coast and the Norfolk Broads which provide a quintessential rural getaway with the North Norfolk villages offering a more traditional ambience. Norwich also hosts a year-round calendar of events and festivals. With reasonable house prices, good schools and excellent transport links to Cambridge and London, Norfolk offers everything you require to establish the perfect work-life balance. Generous relocation support is available.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
