We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Governance Administrator to join our team.

The Division covers all surgical specialties, theatres, Cromer Hospital and a wide range of screening programs.  We have 27 theatres, 7 surgical wards for both elective and non-elective care and a busy proactive surgical admissions unit. We are a tertiary center for a large number of specialties providing services not only for Norfolk but also the East of England.  We have close relationships with Research partners and the University of East Anglia, other local hospitals and NHS organisations.

Working with Service Directors, Divisional Operational Managers and Matrons for Surgery, you will assist in providing governance support to the Division and be accountable to the Divisional Nurse Director for the Division achieving mandated targets and demonstrating safety and effectiveness of clinical care.  

As post holder you will :

- provide a comprehensive administrative service and secretarial support to the Divisional Governance team for Surgery Division and the Divisional Nursing Director for Surgery.

- be an effective administrator for all issues relating to the working of the Surgery Division and its members.

- ensure that confidential information is communicated clearly and in a timely fashion in the development, coordination and management of key areas in respect of the Trust’s Risk, Quality and Clinical Governance agenda.

Hours of work : part time -22.5 hours per week
