Please only apply to this vacancy if you are currently a Student Nurse or Medical Student at the UEA.
In order to be eligible to be placed onto a shortened HCA training programme, you must be in or due to begin your 2nd year of study at the UEA and have completed at least one clinical placement on a general ward within the NNUH during your current period of study.
If you have not completed any appropriate placements, or are in the first year of your studies, you will be required to complete our full 2 week induction course.
If you are not a student nurse or medical student, you will need to apply to our general Bank Health Care Assistant vacancy, when available.
Team NNUH are looking for Health Care Assistants to join the Temporary Staffing Team and help deliver the highest quality of care to our patients.
If you are passionate about caring for people, enjoy working as part of a team - often in a busy, fast paced, environment - and have excellent communication skills, then working flexibly via our Nurse Bank could be the role for you.
Whilst previous experience of working as a Health Care Assistant is desirable, we are seeking individuals who share our PRIDE Values of People Focus, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence, and who want to make a difference to our patient's experience on a daily basis.
You will need enthusiasm, motivation and confidence as you will be expected to work in a variety of areas across our Hospital.
We will provide an initial training course to deliver the skills you will need to work in a busy hospital hospital.
