An ideal opportunity to increase clinical and operative experience in Thoracic Surgery
Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow post in Thoracic Surgery. This is a fixed term for a period of up to 12 months.
We are looking for a highly motivated, thoracic surgery career focused candidate to undertake a full time Registrar level job. This post provides an excellent opportunity to gain superb clinical experience in Thoracic Surgery and is ideal for candidates wishing to pursue a career in Thoracic Surgery. Although this is not strictly training position, it provides similar exposure to the trainees.
At the end of the post, we would expect the applicant to be able to undertake a range of Thoracic procedures with confidence.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practise. Previous experience in the UK National Health System and in Thoracic Surgery is desirable as well as the MRCS qualification.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
