Vascular - Registered Nurse positions.

Full and part time hours available.

We are opening a new speciality ward to improve the care of Vascular patients at NNUH. This brand new Vascular Care Ward is a result of our continued hard work and success and we are looking to recruit a team of Nurses to be part of the new adventure.

As the regional hub for Vascular care we are already leading the way nationally with both our care and innovation.    For example

  • Excellent patient outcomes, with much lower than average mortality rates for patients undergoing vascular surgery
  • We have successful nurse led AAA screening programme

Our award winning nursing teams are dedicated and committed which is reflected in our 98% score on our friends and families test.  With excellent opportunities for career progression into such roles as nurse practitioner and a variety of specialist nursing roles, now really is the time to join Team NNUH where the opportunities are as big as the Norfolk skies. If you share our passion for caring for people and our PRIDE values, you’ll fit right into a team that frequently receives praise like the following:

“Thank you so very much for the care, patience and helpfulness you have given me during my long stay.  You are all wonderful”

Why NNUH?

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is the sixth largest acute teaching hospital in the UK, with a workforce of over 7,500 working in multi-disciplinary teams to provide outstanding care for patients.

Housed in a stunning purpose built, modern hospital with bright and airy atriums flooding the building with beautiful Norfolk sunshine, NNUH has strong links to the University of East Anglia and Norwich Research Park.  These connections allow NNUH to shine as an example of a Trust supporting staff development and allowing everyone the opportunity to achieve their potential.

Why Norwich?

Whatever you want in life - wild, open spaces, tranquility, culture, excitement or nightlife, you will find it here. Norfolk is a place where you can balance work and leisure to get the life you want for you and your family.

In Norwich a staggering 77% of people say they love their job.   Although less than 2 hours from London and serviced by excellent transport links , Norwich is one of few UK cities that still retain a strong local identity and with that a strong sense of community – people walk down the street and say hello to each other, baristas remember our coffee order, you get to know about interesting local projects.

This strong sense of self along with excellent shopping, eating out, affordable house prices and excellent schooling is why Norwich has been ranked by the Guardian as the best city to work in.

Norwich is really easy to access and is well connected to the rest of the UK.  We have the recently improved A11 which connects Norfolk to Cambridge, London and beyond. Greater Anglia runs fantastic services to and from London every 30 minutes for as little as £10 each way. There are also direct rail services from Manchester, Nottingham and Cambridge.

Full and part time hours available.
