Our ISAS accredited Radiology Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals requires Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographers to join its friendly team and support the development of the Radiology Department. The Radiology Department boasts 10 general rooms with 3 in a busy and exciting ED unit; most of our rooms are DR. We also have a satellite DR Chest room, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, CT, MRI, Dentals, DXA and Cardiac Cath Lab (including PPCI). There are 27 theatres in which we have a range of Image Intensifiers. Cromer Hospital forms part of the Trust and is situated on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The Cromer Radiology department has 2 general rooms supporting a busy MIU, GP’s and clinics together with a procedure room with its own image intensifier. Also on site at Cromer are Mammography, US, MRI and DXA.

The Band 5 Radiographer rotation encompasses all areas of the general department including General x-ray, ED, Fluoroscopy, Mobiles/Theatres, Dentals and our dual site at Cromer Hospital. Rotation to other modalities including CT, Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheter Labs are rostered when staffing allows.

We are committed to role extension, CPD, career progression and also have close links with the Norwich Radiology Academy and the UEA. We play an important role in the teaching and training of health professionals, in partnership with the UEA, City College Norwich and University of  Suffolk.  The Trust’s location on the Norwich Research Park means that research and development is a key feature of our work.
